It’s also Republic Day here in The Philippines. Nothing too special, really, largely because the day was nothing more than a signing of papers and a bygone formality.

Gift from a friend with uh benefits. I think she gave it to me about two years ago. The Chibimoon on my school bag was a gift from another friend. The school bag itself is my actual school bag. It’s getting ratty, I had to sewup and around some fraying edges to restore strength to the handles.
I have summer and winter sailor uniforms too. From an actual school I both taught at and attended other classes at. People sometimes ask me if I’m into cosplay. “Not since I was like, 13. I was a 30 year old JHS student in Japan.” I even have a valid diploma from that school. Not that with graduate coursework it means much! But just invaluable for the memories attached.
